I noticed today, that one of my favorite sites, Popurls.com now has a snazzy little 300x250 ad served by Federated Media. Not too intrusive.

Step Up TV spot promotes MySpace profile
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I just saw a spot for an upcoming movie - looks like it's about dancing - called Step Up. Then at the end of the commercial, they pop the URL for its MySpace profile. This is the first time I've seen an offline ad promoting a MySpace profile. Interestingly, this movie doesn't even have its own website.
Yahoo mail gets banners
I just noticed a couple of days ago that Yahoo mail beta now has a 120x600 banner along the side. I've gotta admit that this ad is a little intrusive. When I'm using e-mail, I like having the space maximized. Think about how you would like having a skyscraper taking up a portion of your Microsoft Outlook window.

Superman Returns on MySpace
I just learned that Warner Brothers is building some buzz around the upcoming Superman Returns movie on MySpace with what else, but a profile. Check it out.
Google Sync and Earth
I've tried out 2 new Google products recently. Google Browser Sync is a Firefox plugin that allows you to sync your browser across different computers so that you have the same bookmarks, saved passwords and more on each machine. The catch is that the plugin has to be installed on each computer that you want synced.
BlueLithium combines online video with behavioral
Ad network, BlueLithium is launching video advertising technology on its network of sites today. I'm not familiar with BlueLithium, but this will allow advertisers to behaviorally target video ads.
Who can resist a chicken doing wheelies and tailwhips?
Crispin Porter and Bogusky is at it again with the Chicken. This time, it's Huckin' Chicken Extreme Air, where a guy (or girl) in a chicken costume does all kinds of stunts on a dirtbike. Apparently, the more visitors the site gets, the more stunts you'll see. Weird?
