Point Roll's Paperboy: Bad User Experience

An ad for Pointroll's Paperboy technology, actually using its own technology has been running for a few days now, on a site that I visit on a daily basis, MarketingVox.
I think Pointroll's drop-down technology is fine. I have no problem with user-initiated expandable banners. This one, however, though user-initiated is a 728x90 size so it takes up most of the top margin in a lot of people's browser windows, and all you have to do to get it to expand is roll over it.

Think you can avoid rolling over? Well, the way most people have their browsers set up, the address bar is centered at the top of the screen. To get your pointer from the address bar (where you might have pasted an address), down to your task bar or to the window's scroll bar, you will instinctively drag the pointer smack down the middle of the browser window, triggering the expandable banner. This has unintentionally happened to me about a dozen times in the past 2 days.

Then, in order to close the expanded banner to continue on with the activity one was initially pursuing, you have to find the "close" button on the bottom left corner. This is the only instance of this functionality I have thus far seen, but it certainly leaves me with a sense of frustration and with the brand it is being associated with.
